Welcome to RetroGamesShop!
We specialize on games of the golden 8-bit and 16-bit era, the times, when Atari, Sinclair and Commodore were a synonym for computer high tech and the battle of formats on the console market was lead by Mattel, Coleco and Atari instead of Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft.
Modules with a whopping 4KB ROM (Atari 2600) and floppy disks with respectable 170 kByte (Commodore 64) were state of the art. Some computers didn’t even have a power switch (Sinclair ZX Spectrum). 320x200 pixels was considered high resolution and – with the help of (more than just) a little imagination – a simple rectangle became a powerful sword wielding hero (Adventure). And people just couldn’t wait to hear the latest game tune, squeezed out of the SID (Commodore 64) by Rob Hubbard.
If all this sounds familiar, this is the right place for you. Feel free to browse our products and retrieve a piece of computer and video game history to your living room.
